The World Essay Competition aims to engage school students globally in discussing and exploring solutions to critical issues of sustainability and climate change. This project invites students to voice their ideas, perspectives, and innovative solutions through written essays, fostering awareness and action towards a sustainable future.
Rules for Schools:
1. Eligibility: The competition is open to school students worldwide, grouped into age categories to ensure fair participation.
2. Theme: The essays must focus on topics related to sustainability, environmental conservation, or strategies to combat climate change.
3. Essay Submission: Schools can organize the competition internally, selecting the best essays to submit for the global round. Each school can submit a designated number of entries based on participation levels.
4. Judging Criteria: Essays will be evaluated based on originality, creativity, depth of research, and feasible solutions proposed.
5. Prizes: Schools are encouraged to offer incentives such as certificates, trophies, or scholarships to winners at the school level, fostering motivation and recognition among students.
6. Global Recognition: Winning essays from each school will be entered into the global round, where top submissions will be featured and recognized internationally.
7. Collaboration: Schools are encouraged to collaborate with educational institutions, environmental organizations, and local communities to enhance student engagement and promote awareness on sustainability.

Age Eligibility Rules:
- Primary Level: Students aged 6-11
- Middle School Level: Students aged 12-14
- High School Level: Students aged 15-18
- International Level: Students aged 6-18 (Global Participation)
Competition Details:
- Entry Fee: Free of charge
- Maximum one winner per school in each age group who will have the opportunity to compete in the global competition.
Global Competition Dates:
- Opening Date: October 17, 2024
- Closing Date: October 27, 2024
- Winner Announcement: Results will be communicated via email and social media on September 1.
